Overview
Praxis Automation's Mega-Guard platform is used on vessels for automation, engine control, power management and dynamic positioning. In its obsolescence notification of May 2021, Praxis listed the Mega-Guard Pro Series parts affected, stated that spare parts are not guaranteed after 31 December 2022, and offered migration to the Mega-Guard E-Series. Processor and I/O modules from Pro Series installations are still needed when a module fails before a migration is planned. Send the item number and revision from the module label, with the installed configuration, for a quotation.
