Overview
AutoChief C20 is Kongsberg's propulsion control system for main engines: a digital governor system, remote control panels and a telegraph system. The generation was introduced in 2004 and delivered until 2014. On 17 June 2025 Kongsberg announced that AutoChief C20 had entered the obsolete lifecycle phase, that components for producing spare parts are limited or non-existent, and that it can no longer fully support the system with spares and services. The governor components named in the notice include the KM Actuator 1325/1335, the Yaskawa servo controller for DSU15, the MCW 151 servo controller card, SEFA 160/800 and ELACT 0516. Keeping Kongsberg AutoChief C20 in service
