Overview

Kinetix drives control the servo motors on machine axes. Rockwell's technical data KNX-TD003 covers the current Kinetix 5700, 5500, 5300 and 5100 servo drives. Rockwell's product pages list the Kinetix 6000 (2094), Kinetix 300 (2097) and Ultra3000 (2098) as discontinued and name a Kinetix 2198 drive as the replacement for most of them. A replacement drive needs its motion configuration set again and must suit the motor and feedback fitted, so TimControls quotes against the catalog number on the drive's label.
