The S7-1200 G1 is discontinued from 1 November 2026.

Siemens moves the first generation S7-1200 to phase out status PM400 on 1 November 2026. New units stay available until 1 October 2027. After that they're spare parts only, with spares available until 2036. If your machines run on S7-1200 G1, you have two options:

Keep it running.We source G1 CPUs and modules, factory sealed or new surplus, with the condition stated on every line.

Plan the move.Siemens names the S7-1200 G2 as the successor. It is not a direct replacement: dimensions, terminals and connector positions have changed, and it needs TIA Portal V20 or later.
