The 2198-P070 is a Kinetix 5700 25A DC bus supply for 480VAC three phase, 55mm wide. Its AC input is 195 to 528V rms, three phase, at 47 to 63 Hz, drawing 27.0 A. The bus output is 276 to 747V DC nominal, with 25.5 A DC continuous and 70.3 A DC peak for 1.0 s.

What is the 2198-P070 used for?

It converts the three phase supply into the common DC bus that feeds the Kinetix 5700 axis modules beside it. Control power is 24V DC ±10% at 0.8 A DC. It has a 75 W internal shunt and 780 µF of internal capacitance.
