Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus terminals

Overview

PanelView Plus terminals are the screens operators use to run machines controlled by Allen-Bradley PLCs. Rockwell's technical data 2711P-TD005 covers the PanelView Plus 6: 400 and 600 terminals (3.5-inch and 5.7-inch displays) and 700 to 1500 terminals (6.5-inch to 15-inch), each in keypad (K), touch (T) and keypad and touch (B) versions, for a DC (D) or AC (A) supply. All are programmed with FactoryTalk View Machine Edition software. Rockwell lists the PanelView Plus 6 terminals as discontinued and names a PanelView Plus 7 terminal as the replacement for many of the larger ones. A replacement terminal needs the application loaded again, and a different size needs a different panel cut-out, so TimControls quotes against the full catalog number and series on the label.
