Overview
Rockwell's technical data 22-TD001 describes the PowerFlex 4 and PowerFlex 40 as the smallest members of the PowerFlex family, with power ratings from 0.2 to 11 kW (0.25 to 15 HP) in voltage classes of 120, 240, 480 and 600 volts, for machine tools, fans, pumps, conveyors and material handling. The catalog number gives the supply (V 120 V, A 240 V single-phase, B 240 V, D 480 V, E 600 V), the output current and the enclosure. Rockwell lists many PowerFlex 4 and 40 drives as discontinued and names a PowerFlex 523 or 525 drive (25A, 25B) as the replacement. A replacement drive needs its parameters set again, so TimControls quotes the exact catalog number on the rating label, or the replacement Rockwell names.
