Overview
RBUS is Kongsberg's remote I/O bus: one redundant pair of connections that carries both the 2 Mbps communication link and the 24 V DC module power. RIO modules snap onto a dual DIN rail side by side and are run by an RCU remote controller unit. The newer RIO hardware line comprises the RCU501 controller, the RHUB200-5 hub and repeater, the RSER200-4 serial line interface and the RMP200-8 multipurpose I/O module; the RMP201-8 is a sibling of the RMP200-8 with its own part number. Modules can be replaced while the system runs, and each label gives the part number, revision and serial number. Send these from the label for a quotation.
