Omron Omron CJ2 CPU Units (CJ2H, CJ2M)
Omron CJ2 CPU units: the CJ2H high-performance CPUs and the CJ2M CPUs of the CJ-series modular PLC, with EtherNet/IP built in on the CJ2H-EIP and CJ2M-CPU3x models.
Overview
The CJ2 CPU units sit at the left of a CJ-series rack and differ in program size and built-in ports. Omron's descriptions give the CJ2M from 5K to 60K steps of program with 32K words of data memory and one to four 32K-word EM banks, and the CJ2H from 50K to 400K steps with up to 25 EM banks. All support 2560 I/O and 3 expansion racks. CJ2M-CPU1x models have an RS-232C port, CJ2M-CPU3x models EtherNet/IP and an option port, and CJ2H-EIP models both. Where Omron's specification table gives a different program size from its own model description, TIMC publishes the description's figure. TIMC quotes CJ2 CPUs against the model number and lot number on the label.
