Overview
The Modicon M340 processors differ in I/O capacity and built-in ports. Schneider's product pages give the BMXP3410 up to 512 discrete and 128 analog I/O, and the BMXP3420 models up to 1024 discrete and 256 analog I/O, with Modbus, Ethernet or CANopen ports depending on the model and a memory card for program backup. H versions are for harsh environments. Schneider recommends the BMXP3420102 and BMXP3420302 for the discontinued BMXP342010 and BMXP342030. TIMC quotes them against the reference and product version on the label.
