Overview
DEIF's Multi-line 2 generation covers paralleling, protection and power-management controllers for generator sets and marine switchboards, including the PPU-2, GPU-2 and PPM-2 and their later -3 variants. DEIF has phased out the PPU-2, GPU-2 and PPM-2. It names the PPU 300 and PPM 300 as product-programme replacements for the PPU-2 and PPM-2, and currently states that no replacement is offered for the GPU-2. DEIF has also announced that the PPM-3 is being phased out in favour of the iE 350 Marine. Moving a vessel to a newer generation usually means configuration and wiring changes, so an exact-match spare is often the quickest repair.
