HARTING Han B hoods and housings
The die-cast aluminium shells that hold Han E and other B-size inserts, locked together by a lever.
Overview
A Han B connection pairs a hood on the cable with a housing on the panel or machine, both the same size as the inserts inside them (6 B, 10 B, 16 B, 24 B). The housing carries the locking lever: a single lever on the 6 B bulkhead housing, a double lever on the 16 B. The hood takes the cable through a gland entry, given as a Pg thread size, from the top or the side. HARTING lists these as IP65 when mated, die-cast aluminium, for -40 to +125 °C. Check the size, the lever type and the cable entry before ordering a replacement.
