Siemens SIMATIC NET Industrial Ethernet FastConnect RJ45 plugs: field-assembled RJ45 connectors in a metal housing, with a straight (180°) cable outlet.
Overview
The IE FC RJ45 Plug 180 lets an RJ45 connector be fitted to Siemens FastConnect twisted-pair installation cable on site, without a crimping tool: the cores go into integrated cut-and-clamp contacts. Siemens makes it in two versions. 6GK1901-1BB10-2AA0 takes 4-wire (2x2) cable for 10/100 Mbit/s and Cat5; 6GK1901-1BB11-2AA0 takes 8-wire (4x2) cable for 10/100/1000 Mbit/s and Cat6. Both have a metal housing, support PoE and PoE+, and can be re-terminated up to 10 times according to Siemens's data sheets.
