About the Allen-Bradley 1734-IE2C

The 1734-IE2C is a POINT I/O 24V DC 2 channel analog current input module. Its two inputs are single-ended and non-isolated, with ranges of 4 to 20 mA and 0 to 20 mA, 16-bit resolution and absolute accuracy of 0.1% full scale at 25 °C. It is factory calibrated, mounts on DIN rail and works from -20 °C to +55 °C.

What is the 1734-IE2C used for?

It reads two current loops from field transmitters and presents the values as signed integer data. The input update rate is 100 ms at the default 60 Hz notch setting, and field power is 24V DC nominal. It fits the 1734-TB, 1734-TBS, 1734-TB3, 1734-TB3S, 1734-TOP, 1734-TOPS, 1734-TOP3 or 1734-TOP3S terminal base.
