The Siemens 6XV1830-0EH10 is the PROFIBUS FC Standard Cable GP: the standard violet 2-core shielded bus cable for PROFIBUS DP, constructed for FastConnect assembly. Its two cores are shielded by overlapped aluminium-clad foil and a braid of tinned copper wires, and the cable has a 150 Ω characteristic impedance, an 8 mm PVC sheath and a minimum bending radius of 75 mm for repeated bends. Siemens rates it for -40 to +75 °C, flame resistant to IEC 60332-3-24 (Category C) and UL 1685, and oil resistant. It is sold by the metre, with a minimum order of 20 m and delivery units up to 1000 m.

What is the 6XV1830-0EH10 used for?

It is the fixed-installation cable between PROFIBUS DP stations, in cabinets and on cable trays.
