The Siemens 6XV1840-2AH10 is the Industrial Ethernet FC TP Standard Cable GP 2x2, PROFINET Type A: the standard green 4-core shielded installation cable for PROFINET and Industrial Ethernet, constructed for FastConnect assembly. It has rigid AWG22 cores, an SF/UTP shield of aluminium-clad foil and tinned copper braid, a 100 Ω characteristic impedance and Cat5e performance, and Siemens gives a maximum segment of 100 m with 100BASE-TX. The PVC sheath is 6.5 mm; Siemens rates it for -40 to +75 °C in operation, flame resistant to IEC 60332-3-24 (Category C) and UL 1685, oil resistant and PoE/PoE+ capable. It is sold by the metre, minimum 20 m, delivery units up to 4000 m.

What is the 6XV1840-2AH10 used for?
