HARTING Han E inserts and contacts

Overview

A Han E connector is built from a male insert in one half and a female insert in the other, each fitted into a Han B hood or housing of the same size. HARTING rates the Han E inserts at 16 A and 500 V (600 V to UL and CSA), with a PE contact in every insert. The size in the article name sets the number of contacts: a Han E 6 is size 6 B with 6 contacts, a Han E 16 is size 16 B with 16. Screw-termination inserts, such as the ones listed here, take 0.75 to 2.5 mm² wires directly; crimp-termination inserts take separate crimp contacts such as the 09 33 000 6104. Order the male and female insert as a pair, and check the hood or housing size matches.
