Overview
The ControlLogix 5570 controllers (1756-L71 to 1756-L75) differ in user memory, from 2 MB to 32 MB, and share the rest of Rockwell's specification in technical data 1756-TD001: 0.98 MB of I/O memory, a 1 GB SD card that ships in the controller, a USB port for programming, one chassis slot, and support for EtherNet/IP, ControlNet and DeviceNet through communication modules. The 1756-L73XT is the extended-temperature version. The GuardLogix 5570 controllers (1756-L71S, L72S and L73S) add safety memory and a safety task, and are fitted with the 1756-L7SP safety partner in the slot to their right. Rockwell lists all of them as Active Mature. TIMC quotes these controllers against the catalog number, series and firmware on the label.
