The 1756-OW16I is a ControlLogix 16 point relay output module (N.O. Isolated Relay Output 16 Pts, 36 pin). Each of its 16 normally open outputs is individually isolated, and it switches 5...125V DC or 10...240V AC. Outputs are rated 1A at 5...30V DC and 1.5A at 120V AC, 50/60 Hz. It occupies 1 slot and works from 0 to 60 °C.

What is the 1756-OW16I used for?

It switches field loads from a ControlLogix controller through relay contacts. In program mode and in fault mode each point can hold its last state, or go On or Off, with Off as the default. The maximum switching frequency is 1 ops/3 s (0.3 Hz at rated load).
