Overview
An ET 200SP station starts with an interface module such as the IM 155-6 PN HF, fitted with a BusAdapter for the PROFINET cables, followed by a row of BaseUnits. Each BaseUnit carries the push-in terminals and the backplane, and an I/O module plugs into it, so a module can be changed without disturbing the wiring. A BaseUnit such as …-0DA0 starts a new load group with its own supply; one such as …-0BA0 continues the group from its left. Siemens names ET 200SP as a migration route for ET 200M stations of the discontinued S7-300. TIMC quotes ET 200SP modules and BaseUnits against the order number.
