Deep Sea Electronics DSE legacy synchronising and load share controllers

Overview

Each DSE synchronising generation has three roles. A load share module runs one generating set in a multi-set system and synchronises it onto the bus (DSE5510, DSE7510, DSE8610). An auto mains failure version parallels a single set with the mains (DSE5520, DSE7520, DSE8620). A mains controller with automatic transfer switch capability synchronises the sets with one or more mains supplies (DSE5560, DSE7560, DSE8660). DSE gives the load share and paralleling modules direct outputs for the speed governor and the automatic voltage regulator (AVR). Deep Sea Electronics lists these models as obsolete and names the DSE8610 MKII, DSE8620 MKII or DSE8660 MKII as the replacement. DSE describes each mains controller working with load share modules of its own generation (the DSE5560 with DSE5510s, the DSE7560 with DSE7510s, the DSE8660 with DSE8610s), so check DSE's documents for which other modules on the site have to change with it.
