About the DEIF GPU 300

The DEIF GPU 300 is a generator protection unit from DEIF's Multi-line 300 platform, designed for marine use. Each controller contains the functions needed to protect electrical equipment with a breaker, such as a diesel generator, a busbar or a motor, with breaker trip and alarms, synchronisation check and breaker position detection. It measures three-phase voltage and current to class 0.2, can shed up to three non-essential load groups, and is configured through its 5-inch colour display or DEIF's PICUS software. DEIF lists the GPU 300 as not recommended for new designs and names the iE 250 as its successor.

What is the GPU 300 used for?

The GPU 300 is fitted in marine switchboards to protect a generator breaker, and can also disconnect up to three groups of non-essential loads.
