Unlike the 2 A 6ES7322-1BF01-0AA0, which has no diagnostics, it reports wire breaks, short circuits and missing load voltage and raises a parameterizable diagnostic interrupt. Siemens's data sheet gives a 24 V DC load voltage (20.4 to 28.8 V), one group of 8 outputs and a 20-pin front connector. Siemens's data sheet marks it as a spare part.
What is the 6ES7322-8BF00-0AB0 used for?
It switches 24 V DC loads from an S7-300 CPU where a broken cable or a shorted output has to show up in the program, not only at the machine.
