About the Deep Sea Electronics DSE4510

The DSE4510 is the original (MKI) auto start module of DSE's compact DSE4510 and DSE4520 pair; the DSE4520 adds mains (utility) sensing and two more auxiliary outputs, E and F. DSE describes the pair as suitable for a wide variety of single gen-set applications. Its data sheet gives a 140 mm x 113 mm x 43 mm case for a 118 mm x 92 mm cut-out, fuel and start outputs rated 10 A short term and 5 A continuous, and a generator range of 15 V to 415 V AC (Ph to N). Deep Sea Electronics lists the DSE4510 as obsolete and names the DSE4520 MKII as its replacement; its notice 056-035 also names the DSEG4500.

What is the DSE4510 used for?

The DSE4510 starts, runs and stops a single generating set and protects the engine and alternator. Its sleep modes keep the current drawn from the battery low.

What to photograph or confirm so the right unit is quoted.

Check the model number DSE4510 on the module's label. Send us a photo of the label and we will confirm the details before quoting.

OEM successor to DSE4510

Named by Deep Sea Electronics as the successor. It is an upgrade, not a like-for-like spare: check wiring, I/O and configuration for your installation before ordering it in place of the DSE4510.
