About the Deep Sea Electronics DSE5110

The DSE5110 is the auto start module of DSE's DSE5110 and DSE5120 pair. DSE describes it as designed to automatically start and stop diesel and gas generating sets that include non electronic engines; its twin, the DSE5120, adds monitoring of a mains (utility) supply and its loading relay. On DSE's data sheet it runs from 8 V to 35 V DC continuous, has 16 A DC start and fuel relay outputs and 5 A DC auxiliary relay outputs, and fits a 220 mm x 160 mm panel cut-out. Deep Sea Electronics lists the DSE5110 as obsolete and names the DSE7310 MKII as its replacement.

What is the DSE5110 used for?

The DSE5110 starts, runs and stops a generating set and protects the engine. It reads the alternator voltage and frequency and a magnetic pick-up for engine speed, and shows faults on its LCD display and LEDs.

What to photograph or confirm so the right unit is quoted.

Check the model number DSE5110 on the module's label. Send us a photo of the label and we will confirm the details before quoting.

OEM successor to DSE5110

Named by Deep Sea Electronics as the successor. It is an upgrade, not a like-for-like spare: check wiring, I/O and configuration for your installation before ordering it in place of the DSE5110.
