Key takeaways
Every S7-400 order number we track, with its Siemens status, the dates from Siemens’ record and a link to it, checked on 15 October 2026.
On 1 October 2026 Siemens cancelled the S7-400 signal and function modules on this list, a year after announcing their phase-out. The same day it announced the phase-out of the 414-3, 416-2, 416-3 and 416F-3 PN/DP, the last S7-400 CPUs on this list it still sold as active products.
Unlike the S7-300, the S7-400 has no single date for the whole range: some CPUs were cancelled in 2016, others are only now starting their phase-out. The date that matters is the one on the exact order number. This list gives it for each of the 32 order numbers we track, with the Siemens record behind it.
For the S7-300 and ET 200M, see the S7-300 part status list.
SiePortal moves each order number through the same milestones. This list shows the latest one each order number has reached.

Every status and date below is from Siemens’ record for that order number. Siemens can change a status, so the Source link in each row is the reference.
A status in this list tells you what Siemens says about an order number. It does not confirm that a unit is in stock, where it is or what condition it is in.
Two modules with the same name can differ in order number suffix, product version and firmware. Send us all three and we confirm the match before we quote.
