About the Deep Sea Electronics DSE7210

The DSE7210 is the auto start module of DSE's DSE7210 and DSE7220 pair; the DSE7220 adds a mains (utility) sensing input. DSE describes both as compatible with electronic (CAN) and non-electronic (magnetic pick-up or alternator sensing) engines. DSE's data sheet gives 6 configurable inputs, 8 configurable outputs, 15 A DC fuel and start outputs, a generator voltage range of 15 V to 333 V AC (L-N) and a 240 mm x 181 mm x 42 mm case for a 220 mm x 160 mm cut-out. Deep Sea Electronics lists the DSE7210 as obsolete and names the DSE7310 MKII as its replacement; its notice 056-035 also names the DSE7410 MKII.

What is the DSE7210 used for?

The DSE7210 starts, runs and stops a single generating set and protects the engine and alternator. It shows warnings, shutdowns and engine status on its back-lit LCD and LEDs.
