About the Deep Sea Electronics DSE7220
The DSE7220 is the auto mains (utility) failure module of DSE's DSE7210 and DSE7220 pair. DSE says the DSE7220 will also monitor the mains (utility) supply; on its data sheet that is the one difference from the DSE7210, a mains (utility) input of 15 V to 333 V AC (L-N) at 3.5 Hz to 75 Hz. Both are compatible with electronic (CAN) and non-electronic engines and share 6 configurable inputs, 8 configurable outputs and the 220 mm x 160 mm cut-out. Deep Sea Electronics lists the DSE7220 as obsolete and names the DSE7320 MKII as its replacement; its notice 056-035 also names the DSE7420 MKII.
What is the DSE7220 used for?
The DSE7220 watches the mains (utility) supply and starts the generating set when the mains fails. It also protects the engine and alternator and shows status on its back-lit LCD and LEDs.

Before you order
What to photograph or confirm so the right unit is quoted.
Check the model number DSE7220 on the module's label. Send us a photo of the label and we will confirm the details before quoting.
OEM successor to DSE7220
Named by Deep Sea Electronics as the successor. It is an upgrade, not a like-for-like spare: check wiring, I/O and configuration for your installation before ordering it in place of the DSE7220.
Other parts in the Deep Sea Electronics DSE 7000 series (MKI) controllers family
Listed for reference. They differ from the DSE7220 in rating, supply, interface or function and are not interchangeable with it unless Deep Sea Electronics says so. Match the part number on your unit.
