About the Deep Sea Electronics DSE7410

The DSE7410 is the original (MKI) auto start module of DSE's DSE7410 and DSE7420 pair. Where the DSE7420 has a mains (utility) input, DSE's data sheet gives the DSE7410 a bus input of 15 V to 333 V AC (L-N) at 3.5 Hz to 75 Hz. The sheet gives 11 configurable inputs, 8 configurable outputs and a 220 mm x 160 mm cut-out. Deep Sea Electronics lists the DSE7410 as obsolete and names the DSE7410 MKII as its replacement, a different module.

What is the DSE7410 used for?

The DSE7410 starts, runs and stops a single generating set and protects the engine and alternator. It shows warnings, shutdowns and engine status on its LCD and LEDs.
