About the Kongsberg 329699

The Kongsberg 329699 is the RDo-16xe, the remote digital output module of Kongsberg's K-Chief 600 automation system. It has 16 relay outputs with one-pole changeover contacts rated 3 A at 230 VAC or 32 VDC, each with a status LED, and receives its commands over a redundant CANopen field bus. The relays isolate the outputs from each other.

What is the 329699 used for?

The RDo-16xe switches equipment and signals from the automation system: starting and stopping pumps and fans, driving alarm lamps and horns, and giving status contacts to other systems. It is mounted near the equipment it controls, in an engine-room cabinet or on the main engine in a suitable enclosure.
