About the Kongsberg 333523

The Kongsberg 333523 is the RDi-32xe, the remote digital input module of Kongsberg's K-Chief 600 automation system for dry contacts. It reads 32 on/off signals from switches and contacts, normally open or normally closed, supplies the excitation current itself, and shows each channel's state on an LED. Alarms and events are time-stamped in the module and sent over a redundant CANopen field bus.

What is the 333523 used for?

The RDi-32xe collects switch and contact signals, such as level switches, pressure switches and equipment running or fault contacts, close to where they are wired, in an engine-room cabinet or on the main engine in a suitable enclosure. For active 24 VDC or AC signals Kongsberg uses the RDi-32Axe (333824) instead.
