About the Kongsberg 333505

The Kongsberg 333505 is the RAo-8xe, the remote analogue output module of Kongsberg's K-Chief 600 automation system. It provides 8 analogue outputs, each selectable as voltage (±1, 5 or 10 V) or current (±5, 10 or 20 mA) with free scaling, at 16-bit resolution. It receives its values from the system over a redundant CANopen field bus and reports its own status; parameters are stored in the module and set remotely.

What is the 333505 used for?

Kongsberg designed the RAo-8xe to drive analogue indicators and other instruments. Placing it close to the instruments avoids long signal cables; it can be mounted in an engine-room cabinet or on the main engine in a suitable enclosure.
